<p>Kara and Michael’s journey together began on the 15th of October 2022 when they started conversing on a whimsical dating app called Tinder. Right away, they felt a connection. Instead of engaging in a typical dialog of how they ended up there or sharing explicit portraits, they talked about family, values, interests, and their desire for love. It didn't take long for these conversations to occur in person. Their first date happened on the 20th of October at the Tap House Grille, where they shared their first app and kiss! As with the start of most good love stories, sparks were immediately felt, and a sense of familiarity was shared. Michael, following the unwritten rule of "making her wait," tested Kara's patience for the first of many times in this relationship. Around 5 p.m. the following day, he reached out, and they planned their second date.&nbsp;&nbsp;A few months later, on the 12th of February, they exchanged declarations of love as they returned home from a trip to Cisco Brewery. Fast forward one year, and their long-distance relationship became local. Kara became a cat mom and a resident of the center of the universe. With increased time together came increased joy, laughter, and adventure. Typically, this came in the form of hikes, walks along the ocean, trips to Cisco, concerts, day trips to the lake, and hockey games. With every moment spent came an increased desire to never part. On the 19th of October 2024, on the island of Nantucket, in witness of both their families, Michael proposed, and Kara said yes!&nbsp;</p>

James is Michael’s oldest friend, first meeting in preschool over their shared passion for G.I Joe, Lego's and Ninja turtles.  Over the years, they have shared countless adventures and milestones, weaving a tapestry of memories that have stood the test of time. From the carefree days of childhood, where they built forts out of blankets and played laser tag, to the transformative years of adolescence, navigating the challenges  of independence and first heartbreaks. As young adults, they cheered each other on through college exams, first jobs, and the awkwardness of figuring out life in their 20s. Now in their late 30s, their time together is mostly spent playing tennis, and engaging in political debates. Through every twist and turn, they’ve proven that true friendship isn’t about never changing it’s about growing together and being there for each other every step of the way. Today James is a practicing lawyer in NH, has 3 beautiful children and a  dedicated and kind wife, Melina. Their bond, forged in childhood, has only grown stronger with time, rooted in mutual respect, shared memories, and an unwavering sense of humor.

Justin and Michael's relationship began as undergraduate students at the University of New Hampshire. While there, they bonded over their love of hockey, social work, and themed social gatherings of intellectual discussion (some could call them parties).  As time progressed, the strength of their relationship only grew. In their twenties, Justin and Michael would bond over their new careers as social workers, their unofficial roles as movie critics, and their shared passion for UNH hockey. Today, they continue to bond over their passion of helping individuals and love of sports.  Currently, Justin is living in New Hampshire as a medical social worker, advocating for the needs of his patients. He is also a father of 2 and has a beautiful wife named Sarah.

Corey and Michael, like James, have a long-standing friendship which dates back to elementary school. Their bond began over their shared love for recess, wall ball  and participating in town sports teams.  The relationship briefly paused during high school due to the competitive nature of attracting the opposite sex. However, it emerged stronger than ever after that! In college, Michael and Corey spent countless weekends going to movies, playing poker, and indulging in a few adult sodas. Today, Corey resides in New Hampshire, is the father of two cats, and has been in a long-term relationship with an incredible artist/teacher named Jess. Notably, he recently earned his Doctorates in History and is now aspiring to become a history professor.

Michael and Reed first met in an after-school art program where they quickly became sworn enemies, turning chunks of clay into weapons of destruction.  As time passed, however, they realized what they shared in common far outweighed any differences they had. As children and teenagers, their common values, love of sports, and  video/board games brought them together.  As time has passed, not much has changed. They still enjoy sports, board games, and bond over their parallel jobs of therapist and priest. Today, Reed continues to live in NH and is a practicing priest at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. He is also the father of three children and husband to a loving and talented wife, Linden.

Andrew and Michael first connected during graduate school from 2014, quickly forming a friendship built on humor, shared experiences, and a bit of mischief. Their dynamic was defined by playful pranks, including one of the most memorable moments when he asked for advice on where to take a girl for a first date. Michael eagerly recommended a restaurant in Portsmouth, then made sure to arrive 30 minutes early so he would be sitting right next to him when they walked in. Beyond the jokes, their bond deepened through a shared social work internship, where they facilitated adventure-based therapy and individual counseling. Working side by side, they supported each other through the challenges of the field, growing both professionally and personally. Those experiences built a strong foundation of trust and camaraderie, shaping their friendship and approaches to helping others. Andrew lives in Vermont with his adventurous wife Cynthia and their dogs. 

Andrew Maihos

Kara and Destiny met in 2013 when Destiny was a radiography student at Concord Hospital. Immediately Kara and Destiny had a connection. They first bonded over being from the northern part of state, which to Kara was a feeling of familiarity and a sense of home. As time went on their relationship grew stronger. Kara would teach Destiny tricks of the trade at the hospital and Destiny would provide Kara with entertainment and laughter. Upon graduation, Destiny decided to follow her heart and move to the southern part of the state to start her new career. Kara and Destiny became roommates and the rest was history.  It was a time of transition for the both of them, new careers and new relationships but they were happy to have each other to lean on. Since graduating college, moving to a bigger city, Kara had always hoped to find that special friend that she could laugh with, cry with, and just simply go through life with. She had found that in her new friendship with Destiny. Their time would be spent at the beach, going to concerts, hitting the town, conversing over a meal, or attending social events together. As fun as it was to live with your best friend, eventually Destiny moved in with her now husband and as much as Kara hated to see her leave their friendship continued to flourish. Destiny, being a master planner, has planned many weekend  trips where they would explore and eat at the best restaurants. These weekends have been so special in their friendship because it’s a time to unwind with tons of laughter and making memories. If you know Destiny, you know her sense of humor is contagious. Whether they are exploring a new city, zip lining  through the mountains, or chasing her kiddos around in the backyard, Kara and Destiny are constantly having so much fun together. She is the type of friend who is often a source of strength, helping one through difficult situations, offering advice, or just lending a listening ear. She is always the first one to celebrate her friend’s successes as though they were her own. Kara and Destiny have shared so many experiences and milestones together. No matter where life takes them, they know their friendship will endure, growing stronger with time. Destiny lives in Henniker, NH with her husband Michael, son Wesley, and daughter Marlow. 

Destiny Bronnenberg 

Angela and Kara met working at Concord Hospital. There was an immediate connection between them, sparked by their shared experiences in healthcare and similar sense of humor. As time went on these, two co workers became the best of friends, meeting up on the weekends to hit the town or to see a concert. They soon became roommates and continued adventures together. They became glued to the hip and it was rare that they would show up to a social event without each other.  They would attend girls weekends together, visiting a new location and making memories to cherish for a lifetime. Their favorite activity during their time as roommates was staying in, having meaningful conversation while binge watching Sex and the City over a glass of wine or two. When Angela met Isaac, Kara became 3rd wheel but enjoyed every minute of it. Even though Angela was happily in a new relationship, she always made their friendship a priority. When Angela loves she loves with all her heart and remains so loyal and caring. They have celebrated many of life's milestones together from birthdays to marriage and everything in between. Since living together, Angela moved a couple different times but their friendship remains the same. Each time they get together it’s like no time has passed. Today, Angela lives in Pittsburg, NH with her husband Isaac, daughter Lainey, and another little one due in June.

Emily and Kara met while living in the same apartment complex. Being new to the building, Kara wanted to meet her neighbor and hopefully make a new friend. Kara decided to leave a note on Emily’s door one day inviting her over for a margarita. That note was like a little spark, igniting a friendship built on good times, laugher, and of course margaritas! As time went on, they spent weekends together going to the gym, shopping, grabbing dinner, going dancing, weekend trips and creating memories. They loved having girls night at Emily’s apartment where she would provide the best snacks and advice about life (the good, the bad, and the ugly). When they entered the era of online dating, Emily became the guru of handling all the ridiculous and awkward texts that flooded our inboxes. With the perfect blend of wit and grace she knew just how to respond. They no longer live across the hall from each other but their friendship remains the same. Emily continues so be loving and loyal.  Emily has always been there to cheer Kara on and she is extremely supportive. Today Emily lives in Goffstown, NH with her husband Evan and her son Eli. 

Emily Kropa

Kelsey and Kara met through Emily. They quickly bonded over their love for reality tv and trips to Marshalls. Their weekends would be spent having brunch with shopping trips to follow. As time went on, they developed a deeper friendship grounded in shared core values. These values formed a foundation that allowed both of them to navigate life’s ups and downs with endless love and support. One of their favorite activities is to sit in the sun on the deck at the Derryfield Country Club and just chat for hours. They both share a love for the ocean and have gone on several beach trips together to breathe in the salt air and enjoy each others company. They have also attended many country music concerts together where they would sing at the top of their lungs and dance the night away. At one point, in time Kara and Kelsey even became roommates and continued making memories together. Kara has always admired Kelsey for her sense of humor, her strength, and her loyalty to everyone she loves. Kelsey lives in Atkinson, NH with her husband Anthony and her daughter Charlotte. She is expecting TWINS around wedding time so Kelsey will be cheering on the happy couple from her labor and delivery room. She will be missed but Kara is very excited for her and her growing family. 

Kelsey Cappuchi

Kara and Katrina met at Concord Hospital. Kara, at the time, was a student preceptor and Katrina was one of her first students. Kara admired Katrina’s strong worth ethic and her desire to learn. When she got to know more about Katrina she quickly realized that she is extremely witty and over all fun to be around. Although they had to keep their relationship professional when she was a student, the second she graduated they became close friends.  They quickly bonded over their love for margaritas and Mexican food. They often would meet up for a meal and catch up. In their friend group, they can always rely on Katrina to provide the most real advice and lots of entertainment. She has a knack for finding humor in everyday moments, lifting the mood with her outgoing personality and being a strong support system for the people she loves. Katrina loves to host her friends at her house or plan a night out. Either way there will be a spontaneous dance party at the end of the night and lots of laughter. While she enjoys a good party, Katrina and Kara have been known to share quiet moments as well. There is something special about those moments spent catching up over a cup of coffee, visiting each other’s homes, or soaking up the sun at a local lake. Katrina currently lives in Northwood, NH with her daughter Natalie and her son Weston and has been in a long—term relationship with her partner Michael. 

Katrina Bourdon 

Karli and Kara met when Karli was a student. Kara happened to be her preceptor but soon after graduation they became extremely close. They share a love for holidays and changes in season. Each year they eagerly await the shift in weather and embrace the next chapter of the calendar with enthusiasm. They enjoy trips to Hobby Lobby together to catch up and add more home decor to their collections. As much as they adore new pumpkins, Karli and Kara enjoy the warmer months together the most. Karli has been known to provide the best entertainment on her deck, listening to throwback music, soaking up the sun, and sipping margaritas. These nights always end with lots of singing, dancing, and memories to cherish. Karli was the creator of “family” dinner, when she, Katrina, and Kara would take turns hosting a dinner once a week. A family dinner with girlfriends is a perfect blend of warmth, laughter, and delicious food. They would bond over inside jokes and “girl talk”. Karli is the kind of friend who knows exactly when to listen and when to make you laugh, offering support without hesitation. From quiet moments of just enjoying each other’s company to adventures like concerts, St. Patrick’s Day events, lake trips , or grandma’s night out they have shared many memories together. No matter what they are doing, Karli is always such a joy to be around and provides such an infectious positive and loving energy. Karli lives in Hopkinton, NH with her husband Kevin and son Graham.
